Created to mark World Earth Day, this poster series explores the intersection of organic textures and structured typography. Utilising a hybrid workflow, I combined original photography and custom digital paintings with precision typographic layouts in Photoshop and Illustrator. The resulting visuals offer a deeply textured, modern take on environmental design, built to capture focus and engage the community.
A Typographic Exploration
Project Overview: This poster design serves as an exploration of typography, depth, and texture. Created entirely within Adobe Illustrator, the objective was to craft a visually striking piece that commands attention while maintaining a sense of atmospheric warmth and tactility.
The Process: The foundation of the design lies in bold, stacked typography. By inverting the central text, the layout immediately creates a focal point that challenges the viewer's perception. To elevate the piece from a flat vector graphic to a multi-dimensional visual experience, I integrated concentric background line work alongside custom paper and glass textures.
Visual Aesthetics: Vibrant, glowing gradients in cyan and deep blue were applied to soften the rigid letterforms, creating an ethereal aesthetic. This project showcases how digital tools can be pushed to replicate analogue qualities, resulting in a design that feels both modern and grounded. It stands as a strong example of how focused visual aesthetics can transform a simple typographic message into a highly engaging piece of communication.
